Hi-ho! Hope everyone has been enjoying a lovely first-month-of-Spring! (If you're in the southern United States -- wooboy. This unpredictable weather, amIright?)
For this month's Favorites roundup, I wanted to do a special beauty edition because I've been experimenting with such fun, amazing products that I just have to share! This is going to be a longer post because I have so much to talk about, but I hope I can help put you on to some lovely self-care items.

1. Tree Hut Scrubs

If you're someone who is interested in beauty or hygiene, then chances are you're already familiar with Tree Hut scrubs. They've been around way longer than TikTok, but it seems that that particular platform has really made these scrubs go viral! They're affordable, excellent quality scrubs and you really get a bag-for-your-buck as they're 18oz of product. Use this in the shower or bath before shaving for extra smooth, glowing skin. I've tried the Coco Calada posted above, but I prefer the newer Tropic Glow Firming version, which you can get on Ulta's website! 10/10, would recommend.
**Bonus for sensitive skinned folks: If you're looking for a gentler, less-abrasive option, Dove makes phenomenal cream scrubs that aren't as exfoliating, but are just as good!
2. Crabtree & Evelyn Almond Lotion as hand cream

I found this lotion on sale at TJ Maxx for $6 and WOW what a steal. This stuff smells like delicious almond cake, and isn't greasy at all. It sinks into the skin nicely, and doesn't leave you feeling like an oil slick. I keep it on my nightstand so I can use it as a nightly hand cream, and it's a luxurious experience. (If you're not using some type of lotion as a hand cream, what are you doing with your life?)
3. Dove Body Wash in Purely Pampering Pistachio with Magnolia Cream

Now, disclaimer: this product may be discontinued. It's really, really hard to find but Y'ALL! I used this all throughout college, so it's an excellent scent-memory inducer and has a special place in my heart. Dove describes this scent as "floral" but I'd say it's more of a creamy clean fragrance. I wish it was nuttier because I love pistachio anything, but this is really just a clean, light scent. It's very nourishing, lathers well, and is fairly gentle. If you can find it, snatch it up!
4. Sol de Janeiro Coco Cabana Cream

Now, this cream has caused a lot of controversy in the beauty community. When it was initially released, people REALLY hated the buttered popcorn note; I was one of them. I like gourmand fragrances (their Bum Bum Cream is my favorite lotion of all time, I tell you!) but this wasn't it for me. BUT they reformulated, and changed the scent profile and... wow. Stunning. Here's the scent profile: Coconut cream, warm vanilla, tropical orchid, sandalwood, and toasted praline. It's a gorgeous scent, and a crazy plush formula! This stiff is thick without feeling thick; it goes on smoothly, and immediately makes your skin feel incredibly hydrated. (It has coconut oil, cupuacu butter, and acai oil, so of course it's crazy hydrating and nourishing!)
5. Red Lipstick

Red lipstick is iconic for a reason. For me, it doesn't really matter what brand or formula I use: if it's red and in a bullet, I'll use it and most likely love it! Red lipstick automatically brightens my face, gives me a sense of confidence, and makes me feel more in control of any situation thrown at me. Red lipstick is my favorite form of war paint, and it's significantly empowered my month!
6. Strawberry Pound Cake Lotion

I'm a Bath & Bodyworks fiend, so I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't try this famous scent until now. It's insanely popular, so I won't say too much about it other than it smells like a sweet, cakey, strawberry jam explosion, and you will smell heavenly ALL. DAY. Plus, the body cream is rich and will keep your skin hydrated to the umpteenth degree. It's a win-win! They bring this scent out every year during the springtime, but they are running out so stock up now before they're gone!
7. Billie Razor

This is a good, practical razor. (Plus, it's very aesthetic and makes my shower look ten times cooler than when I'm using a Bic disposable razor!) With my Billie, I've experienced less nicks/cuts, less razor burn, and in general a more close shave than with previous razors. I do think this is a bomb investment, and you can tell the difference between these and a Venus, for sure. Is it a miracle product like their marketing suggests? Meh. But it's definitely better than average!
8. Dove Hand Sanitizer in Shea + Vanilla

I am OBSESSED with this hand sanitizer, y'all! It's soo good! It's very moisturizing, smells amazing, and feels more like a lotion than an alcoholy concoction so I enjoy using it and reach for it often. It doesn't dry out my hands, and it comes in travel containers, too, so I can keep a bottle everywhere. Definitely something I'd recommend everyone trying if they can get their hands on it.
9. Ariana Grande Cloud

I'm not necessarily an Ariana Grande fan, but her perfumes are actually really, really good and this bestseller is well worth the hype. It's a sweet, creamy, fun scent that instantly boosts my mood and makes me feel more peppy. Fragrance notes are: Lavender, pear, bergamot, whipped cream, praline, coconut, vanilla orchid, and musk. I don't really get the top three notes, but the middle notes of whipped cream, praline, coconut, and vanilla are lovely. All in all, this smells way more expensive than it really is, and I'd recommend anyone trying it in their local Ulta.
10. Dove Shower Mousse

This is SO HARD TO FIND and it makes me SO SAD because it's SO GOOD. This mousse is wonderful for shaving with or just using in place of your bar soap or body wash. It's very moisturizing and rich, smells amazing, and you don't need a lot at all. There are multiple scents, so I suggest snatching up whichever you can find and then immediately let me know how much you love it! :)
That's the end of this special Beauty Edition monthly favorites! Let me know what products you've been loving.
