5 Things I Loved in the Month of May.

It's summer already?! Where is the year going, y'all!?

Summer is my favorite season, but I've been totally caught off guard with how fast it got here. In the deep south, it's already hot and humid with heatwaves and mosquitos, and people are breaking out the flip-flops and shorts. Wasn't it just January?!

Anyway, with the closure of another month, it's time for another 5 Monthly Favorites roundup. Let me know what you've been loving down below!

Frostbeard's candles are a bibliophile's dream. Themed after beloved classics or the nostalgia we associate with bookstores, their candles capture the spirit of the page, and Headmaster's Office in particular wraps me up in a cozy feeling. With notes of fireplace, cedarwood, and lemon there's something achingly familiar about this scent, and I think you'd think so too.

Disney lovers will already know this, but for those of you who don't, in the Disney theme parks they've partnered with Joffrey's Coffee to bring us delicious cups of joe in restaurants and resorts. Joffrey's now offers these special blends online (!!!!!) and have coffees from everywhere like Victoria and Albert's, Tusker House, and Le Cellier. I've found that I really enjoy the Brown Derby blend, which is particularly rich and full-bodied! Drink up.

3. Ballet Flats

I'm not really a shoe girl. I actually wear the same four pairs over and over again, and two of those are shoes I got in middle school... my ballet flats, though, have been my trusty pals these last few months! They're classics for a reason; comfortable, goes with everything, and instantly dresses up a look. These should be a staple in every woman's closet, no doubt.

The Daily Grace Co. has some phenomenal bible studies, journals, pens, and home decor. I really recommend their Haggaii and Hymns studies in particular. If you're a fan of She Reads Truth, I think you'll like Daily Grace Co. even better!

5. "You Don't Miss a Thing" by Bethel Worship/Amanda Cook

The song speaks for itself in a lot of ways, but I'll just add that this has been a miraculous source of healing for me the last month, and I think if you allow yourself to ruminate on its truths, you may be able to experience some of that healing, too.

That's a wrap, gang! Until next time.
